Trust Exam Officer
Pay: H6 - H7 (term time plus 2 weeks)
Start Date: September 2026 (our outgoing exams officer will be available to support your induction)
Exams Officer
You will ensure that all colleagues are provided with administrative support and guidance, assisting with the coordination and delivering of examinations, and ensuring compliance & quality standards are maintained.
You should be educated with GCSE grades A-C in English and Maths or equivalent. You will ideally have previous experience working in an organisation dealing with time-pressured tasks requiring exceptional attention to detail. Please note by mainstream standards we only have a very small number of entries per annum and all invigilation is undertaken by our own staff, due to the nature of our pupils’ special educational needs.
The candidate must possess excellent administrative, organisational, personnel, communication and IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. You will work to tight, fixed deadlines independently, but also as part of a friendly team.
You will support us to maintain a culture that re-ignites a love of learning and a sense of worth and confidence so that the pupils are supported to become successful, economically active, happy adults. A real commitment to providing all children with the opportunity to access excellent educational and wider opportunities is therefore a key facet of the role.
